Getting Back on Your Bike

You’ve made the decision to ride your bike more. Whether it's commuting, for health reasons, or to just get outdoors more often, you’ve found it way more challenging than you thought.

The eBike pedal assist is appealing, but the cost of a brand new eBike just doesn’t make sense.

Besides, you already have a perfectly good bike in your garage. Why not upgrade the bike you already love?

eBike conversion kits have become less expensive. DIYers have been converting bikes for a decade and the technology is growing more advanced.

The conversion is just complex enough that most people are not comfortable upgrading their own bikes.

We have the solution:

Spend half a day as we work together to electrify your bike. We’ll be there with all the specialized tools and eBike expertise you need to get the job done.

Workshops are limited to 6 bicycles. If you want to bring a partner along, that’s awesome. We keep it limited to two people per bike.

All you need to bring are 1) your bike, 2) closed-toe shoes, and 3) an adventurous attitude.

We’ll supply the eConversion kits and batteries. In our bike shop, you’ll have access to the tools of the cycling trade. We’ll be there to guide you through every step of the conversion process.

If you have a group that would like to do the workshop together, please contact us for details:

How do I know if my bike can be converted?

It all comes down to brand. Brand-name bikes come from reputable manufacturers that use quality materials, designs, and assembly methods.

If you bought your bicycle from a bike shop, you likely have a quality frame from a reputable brand you can trust.

The least expensive brand-name bicycles (under $700) will still have quality frame construction. Brands keep the cost of these entry level models low by using entry-level components from well-known component companies. And remember, components can always be upgraded.

If you aren’t sure if the brand is a good fit, look it up on If your bike isn’t listed in this database, it probably isn’t a conversion candidate.

About Greenway Bike Co.

Brent Robinson started Greenway Bike Company as a result of his own health journey during the pandemic. In March 2020, he was overweight and out of shape after having been very active when he was younger. Commuting to the office on his old bike proved to be more of a challenge than expected.

Rather than spend thousands on an e-bike, he researched electric-assist conversion kits for his "perfectly good bike." The result was a renewed passion for cycling and a new love for DIY.

GBC is a startup located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We currently offer three options for converting your bike: Do It Yourself kits, eBike Conversion Workshops, and eBike Conversion services. In 2023, we will be opening our first bike shop in Downtown Fayetteville. Future plans include fabricating and manufacturing eBike kits right here in the USA..
