This 500w motor fits the majority of standard bike frames with a 68-73mm bottom bracket. The motor adds 4.7 kg / 10.4 lbs to your bicycle, not including the weight of your battery (purchased separately). 

The pedal assist used in Tongsheng motors is called a “torque sensor.” Once the integrated sensor detects you are pedaling with additional force (accelerating or going up an incline), the motor provides power based on the level of assist selected. This gives you an easy transition to assisted pedaling and makes for a smooth, more natural ride. 

The kit includes all of the hardware and the installation tools for the mount. The mid-drive motor replaces your current pedals, chainring, and bottom bracket. 

Tongsheng motors include an additional mount that gives an extra contact point on the bicycle frame to ensure a smooth ride. 

Because the Tongsheng is torque-sensing, you do not need an additional shift sensor or brake sensor, meaning you keep your current brake levers. 

Tongsheng motors do not feel as powerful as the Bafang's because the assistance they provide is more subtle and closely matches your own pedaling. When you need it, you will feel it. And at the top assist level, you have more than enough power to hit those bigger hills or stay safe in traffic.
